Health, Fitness and Diet
Burn
the Fat, T. Venuto (e-Book, 341 pages)
We have reviewed a lot of diet and fitness books
in the past. Frankly, most of them had some hook-a
sensational gimmick to make you think they had the secret
to weight loss. In fact, almost all of diets consisted
of one ingredient: baloney. Even books written by physicians
or dieticians contained claims unsupported by any legitimate
science.
"Burn the Fat" was a welcome surprise.
It's a long book at 341 pages, but it covers dieting,
nutrition, metabolism, exercise physiology, and motivation.
In short, it is a comprehensive, yet easy to read, book
on everything you need to know to be thinner and healthier.
This is the book we would have written if we had taken
the time.
This book gets our highest recommendation because
everything in it is true, accurate, and can work for you. We realize that some people might feel overwhelmed
by all the information. If you would feel more comfortable
working one-on-one with your own private coach in following
the book's recommendations, please let us know. As certified
coaches with healthcare backgrounds, we also coach people
in effective weight loss and healthy living. Either way,
we highly recommend this book. To

How
to Stop Bad Breath! Mike Warren (e-Book, 47 pages)
This is a useful book because most people worry
at least some of the time that they have offensive breath.
Whether in a business or romantic situation, people want
to believe that their breath is fresh and not off-putting.
We had a dental professional review this book. Although the author claims that the main cause
of bad breath is from malodorous bacteria in the mouth,
this is not true in many cases. Contrary to the author's
statements, certain foods and medications can be a major
cause of bad breath. For bad breath arising within the
mouth, however, the author's information is scientifically
based and correct.
Following this book's recommendations will be
helpful to many people concerned with bad breath.
If you are worried about intra-oral halitosis (bad breath
origination from the mouth), check this book out. To

Fit
Over 40, J. Benson and T. Venuto (e-Book, 303 pages)
This book can be overwhelming at first.
Don't try to read it in one day. The author's intended
the information to be part of a long-term, lifetime strategy
of weight loss, weight maintenance, and fitness.
There are three main sections to the book. Section
One is one author's personal battle with obesity, medical
problems, and poor fitness. It's a long section-perhaps
too long-but the author wants the reader to know that
the book contents are real and genuine. He hopes to inspire
his readers to accomplish what he and the other people
in the book have done.
Section Two covers fitness because the author
believes that you cannot lose weight permanently nor achieve
fitness by dieting alone. As you get fitter,
you will lose body fat and gain lean muscle. The added
muscle will not make you into a bodybuilder, but it is
necessary if you want to prevent getting weaker and weaker
as you age.
Section Three covers diet and nutrition.
On the whole, there is a lot of scientific support for
the author's recommendations. This book is like fitness
and weight loss: there are no shortcuts or lose weight
fast schemes that work in the long run. The principles
in this book, however, can put you on the path of having
a healthy weight and fitness level for the rest of your
life. The stuff in this book will help you develop a lifetime
plan of weight management and health. We recommend this
book.

Anxiety and Panic Solution, C. Linden (e-Book, 190 pages
+ video + 5 audio sessions)
This book is a fairly comprehensive explanation
of anxiety, panic attacks, phobias, PTS syndrome and OCD.
The author speaks from years of first hand experience
with anxiety: years of doctors visits, medication, and
indifference/hostility from friends and family. His personal
breakthrough came when he weaned himself off the medications,
dumped his doctors, and learned some effective techniques
for conquering his anxiety and panic attacks.
This program includes a comprehensive book, a
video, and five audio sessions. Together they
cover his "9 Pillars" of effective treatment
including exercise, diversion, proper breathing, and healthy
eating. Much of the information in the book would be beneficial
for people not subject to these problems. The authors
basic message is that you can overcome this, and you can
probably do it yourself. If repeated prescriptions and
doctors visits arent getting the job done for you, you
might want to consider this program. Everything considered,
the cost is modest. The program may be just what you need
to feel and function better. To
